Probus Club of Kitchener-Waterloo |
The book club meets once a month except for December, July and August, usually on the second Wednesday at 2:00. Meetings are hosted by each member in turn who had also selected the book to be discussed. Light refreshments are served and the whole meeting runs less that two hours. Our rather informal discussions may involve the style of writing, the content, plot, character development etc. With each member selecting the books, we have a rather eclectic variety of books to be reviewed. Some time is set aside for discussion of any particular hot topic of the day aside from the book discussion. David Horman is the overall chairman. The club currently consists of 9 members.
